A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR
OF “RUST” CORBIN BERNSEN


Hello Kipling!

Well at long last we are about to make our movie! I believe “Rust” is a fantastic first movie for Kipling. It has a message of faith and hope and its writing was influenced greatly by your generosity and kind spirit.

You’ll see my team and I in town starting pre production on January 28th and going into production (actual filming) starting on February 10. Almost every scene in the movie will be shot in and around Kipling and Main Street. Actors and Actresses are from Kipling and surrounding area. Our production office will be at the Legion Hall and open on or about February 4.

But the work has only begun. We are the “little train that could,” and we’ll continue to need your help along the way. To that end I’m enclosing a FIRST LIST of needs for the movie.

My hope is to update you at least twice a week for the next month or so in this manner to not only let you know where we are at, but ask for your continued help with items needed for the film AS WELL AS your bodies! That is we need EXTRAS for many, many of the scenes. And yes, that means you’ll be in the movie!

We are set for tons of fun and a GREAT PROJECT! Please join us in the excitement and thank you for this opportunity. I consider it a blessing!
